Stern Metallbau and Eurotec Innovation Group of companies named Innovation Champion
Überlingen – Let go of the old and dare to try something new: Innovative medium-sized companies such as Stern Metallbau and Eurotec Innovation from Burtenbach are not afraid of change, but see it as an opportunity. The company was thus convincing in the 27th round of the TOP 100 innovation competition. As of June 19, the companie group is officially one of the TOP 100. In the scientific selection process, the company in size class B (51 to 200 employees) particularly impressed with its innovative climate.
The TOP 100 company was founded in 2007 by Hasan Yildiz as a small metal construction company and expanded a few years later to include the mechanical engineering division. These two pillars complement each other today at the Stern Metallbau and Eurotec company group. " We have changed from a pure supplier in metal construction to a dual system with the core business of a machine builder," says Fabian Dolde, who manages Eurotec Innovation GmbH together with Hasan Yildiz. Yildiz is also the managing director of Stern Metallbau GmbH. According to him, such a development is unique in the industry: "The knowledge we have built up over the years about metal construction flows directly into the development of our own products." The products in the field of vibratory finishing and process water technology include, for example, drying systems, centrifuges for process water treatment or separating systems.
The 90 employees with an average age of 35 have no shortage of good ideas. The equipment of the Top-Innovators with the latest communication technology relieve the cooperation in the team. What is also motivating: If you have an idea, you are able to implement it - from development to final testing, always with the option of involving colleagues or external specialists. "Employees often use this assumption of responsibility in project management as an opportunity to prove themselves as managers," says Fabian Dolde, who is just 24 years old himself.
